In her own words, Addie’s birthday was the “Best Day Ever!” Waring’s cousin, Katrina, always does such a fabulous job with the themed food, decoration, and festivities! This has been the year of princesses for Addie (could be due to those Disney Annual Passes), so Addie was Rapunzel for Halloween and had the same theme for her birthday. Addie’s birthday was truly a blast, and I grateful to everyone who came to join us in the celebration!
I thank God each day for this sassy little girl with her big personality.
There is a magical time in a child’s life when they are old enough to walk, talk, and ride the rides at Disney World prior to turning three years old. During this time, they are deemed as “Mickey’s Guest” and they are FREE to enter and enjoy the park. If you are enjoying character dining or fast passes they are free to enjoy the ride or the food but there is no additional fee for their participation. TALK ABOUT MAGICAL…..
Addie has spent a total of 23 days at Disney as “Mickey’s Guest” and she loved every second of it. I know a lot of people say that there is no sense in taking them when they are so young because they won’t remember it, but seeing the look on her face as she had so many wonderful new experiences I know that it is worth it because I WILL REMEMBER IT! I will remember how her face lights up every time she sees the first sign for Disney World and shouts the names of the four characters she sees (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald). Â I will remember how after she meets each new character she walks about and says, “Mommy, I did it!” I will remember how much she loved to ride “super fast rides” and how she first called Splash Mountain, “Water Mountain” and screams “I think we gonna get wet…!”
If she doesn’t remember the 23 days she spent as Mickey’s Guest at Disney World this past year, it is okay because I WILL and I KNOW how much fun she truly had! Take a look and see!

The fall season has been just like I like it, BUSY! I know that most people get anxious when their calendar is overflowing, but in all honesty it excited me. While I can get burnt out as much as the next person, I truly love packing as much bank for my 24 hour buck as I can in each day. I love when my weekends are full of fun things with family and friends, and Fall is such a great time to plan these things because it seems like there is a festival or event around every corner. Fall is truly my kind of season! Here are just a few of the things we have been up to over the past month. (And…in case you have been wondering, we have been checking A LOT of items off of our Fall Bucket List. I will post the final list with all successes and shortcomings at the end of the month!)
